Organics represents a movement. The word organic was a term born out of necessity. Like a flower blooming out of solid concrete, the word organic was born when our world was overwhelmingly polluted with substances that not only harm our bodies, but our nature as well. The colossal growth in the organic market represents our willingness to transform our bodies and minds into the way it was meant to be – natural.
Organics started as a blog in 2013 by a college student who wanted to learn more about living a healthier life and making a positive impact on current and future generations. However, over just one year, unintentionally and quite effortlessly the blog grew into a colossal community of like-minded people and now has over 600,000 visitors each year.
It is not about the journey of any single-individual but rather our community as a whole. Organics wants to find ways improve your body naturally, find you the healthiest products, inspiration, fantastic deals all while having a positive impact on our animals and nature.
The letter “O” in the Organics logo contains a butterfly with wings made out of leaves. In its early stages of life a butterfly is a caterpillar who needs vast amounts of food in order to grow. Through eating leaves from plants, the caterpillar eventually transforms into one of the most beautiful creatures on earth – a butterfly. Butterflies float and dance through fields of flowers serving us as a reminder to not take life too seriously. Our willingness to transform ourselves into our best version of ourselves in order to become the butterfly is the miracle of life.
Have you heard of the butterfly effect? Tiny and minute changes can have large ripple effects elsewhere. Starting with small changes to improve ourselves can have enormous impact on our health, others and the environment.
